“Password Protect Our Hearts, Lord for this New Year”
As we dawn a New Year, our hearts often go to see it as a New Beginning. A fresh start to catapult us into greater. We wait with great anticipation for the clock to strike Midnight on December 31st, going into January 1. “This will be my year! It is going to happen for me this year!” Tonight, I challenge us to expand how we see all of our years combined. You see, every year should be our year when we are in God! On this 100th Blog, it is only fitting to have you be a part of the script, so when I say, “Every year should be our year in God”, I want you to yell out…”Give Us the Truth!”
Every year should be our year in God, (pause) because I guarantee you, if 2026 is going to be one for the history books for you, He prepared you for what was to come back in 2025, and years prior. He allowed the bottom to fall out last year in some areas, so you would be able to withstand the weight of the responsibility that comes with what He blesses you with this year.
Every year should be our year in God, (pause) because when the weapons formed in your life, they did not prosper, but it gave you more memorial stones of remembrance for how Mighty and Sustaining Our God is. The God who never lost a battle!
Every year should be should be our year in God, (pause) because when our character was not able to sustain the the spotlight of what was to come, He did not allow us to prematurely possess the land.
When we can learn and appreciate the ebb as much as we do the flow in God, we mature to a place where our heart’s posture can remain in a perpetual state of worship. Grateful for HIs sustaining and keeping power. The events that were meant to derail and disqualify you become the altars that are built to give Him the Glory that is due to His Name for being a Good, Good Father!
The Newness goes far beyond January 1, 2026. You have been made for such a time as this. You have been created to stand on the principles of God. You have been endowed to embrace being peculiar. You, my friend, have been made to choose the needful thing over the cultural norm. This making takes place through a structuring of our hearts,
God will Password Protect Our Hearts this year so that every virus intended to shut us down will not be able to penetrate what He has built in us. A kind of protection that does not allow fiery darts to have a place to land. This type of protection cannot be figured out- access must be granted by the Great Jehovah!
Take a moment to recognize the honor bestowed upon you to be able to guard your heart. To understand that God has entrusted you with a Password that only He could give you. A Password that could never ever be cracked! A designation where only He can have total access for Him to heal and make us whole. A heart that loves beyond; one that can take a licking and keep on ticking; a heart that can love the way that He loves! A heart that can be shattered and yet through His amazing Potter skills, be able to pour out again!
Tonight, receive all that access has granted you. On this 100th Divine Design Blog, take the time for the remainder of this month to bless God for how He has fortified your heart. He has gifted us with His Word to keep our hearts open to what matures and blossoms in us to look more like Him. After that, let’s do a separate shout for every virus that never got access to lay root in our hearts, because it belongs to Him and He has Divinely Password Protected them!
