“You mean to tell me…”
So, you mean to tell me that the Call on your Life does not call for you to press? To go beyond how you feel. Perseverance is not just for the strong. It is for the ones who put their whole weight on God! For those who still show up and do it with their knees shaking. Bishop Paul Morton sang a song that said, “Whatever you’re doing in this season, please don’t do it without me!” We should never be okay with God having to give what our hands were supposed to do to another because of our disobedience or disqualification!
Beloved, your dash means something. It is the “Why” of Him breathing life in you. There are people, places, and things connected to your fingerprint. The uniqueness of that print is for us to be participants in God getting Glory. You stand in the strength of the One who sent you!
You mean to tell me, because the marriage folded, the career tanked; the children got strung out on drugs- you are going to wave the white flag? Do you not remember when He changed the outcome on the last thing? Do you not recall when He healed you and made you whole from the last heartbreak? Surely, you remember Him being there when you felt all alone.
The faithfulness of God could never be on trial because He has never been guilty of not doing exactly what He said He would do! He is a very present help! He is Lord & Savior! The beginning and the end. He is your refuge and fortress forever! He is the Lifter of your head. The Keeper of your soul! He stands in sovereignty and splendor! His Name is Matchless! Go up Memory Lane on His Pedigree! He is altogether lovely and deserving of us turning the corner with our faith!
Wait! I think you’re getting it now! You did not need everything to be fair. You needed to know that whether abased or abound, it is Showtime- to be a billboard for Him in any state that you find yourself! Whether you find yourself on the Mountain high or Valley low, He is worthy to be praised! What if no one knew which one you were in because your praise never changed?
So, you mean to tell me that with tears streaming, you are going to get up and trust God? You are going to stay around and see Him give you beauty for ashes? You see, the waiting to see what the end will be has to be about already knowing that God has worked it out for your good! We will never beat His faithfulness and commitment. Therefore, the harder you go for God, the more He will show Himself.
I feel a corner turn…
You mean to tell me, that you will not allow anything to impede your place in God! That you will suit up with the whole armor and stay the course! Even your countenance will tell the story of how He has made you over! He has built you to take many lickings and continue ticking! There is nothing cheap about the Grace of God! May His Grace be planted in Good Soil and watch the fruit not only satisfy you, but all those whom you are to cross paths with in this season and beyond! Now go and tell it on the mountain!

Pray:
Father God, we are simply in awe of You. What you use to mature us and prepare us goes beyond our imagination. The evidence of how you turned it around for my good. The mercy moments and measures you took for my retesting that I may pass. You deserve the glory and honor. May my life be poured out and usable. Your majesty and splendor are on display even in a fallen world. May I be found in faith when you return. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
