How Many Will the Draft of Heaven Draw?

Recently, millions tuned in to see the 2025 NFL Draft. The 2nd largest since the 2020 Draft, which was virtual due to the pandemic. A viewership of 7.5 Million watched the three day coverage. Young men from all over the nation put in the work for years to be chosen. Even their childhood showed discipline. Some were in organized sports since primary school.

Many of these players have experienced brokenness, from physical injury to mental defeat. However, that did not end their pursuit. As a matter of fact, for many, it became a fuel to keep their passion in Go! The trials have become a part of their story to tell of their resilience and commitment to never give up. It makes for good footage for their reels and documentaries,

On this level of their pursuit to be drafted, obstacles are automatically seen as building blocks to conquer; rather than stumbling blocks to abort. For many of these players, it has never been about dream deferred, it has been about dream attained by any means necessary.

The discipline of a student athlete is so telling of the Will to accomplish one’s heart’s desire. From classroom to field to family to balancing it all. It is very rarely seen as unfair, nor do players spend much time complaining about the level of pressure on them to perform at a high level in multiple areas. It all simply becomes part of for the course and a required means to an end.

Check in time as we prepare for an altitude change. What does the Draft of Heaven look like? How many will tune in to see young men give their lives to Christ at a young age. Run daily through infested streets of sin just to be able to reach the church to learn more about the One who gave them eternal life?

What would their feels look like, who have decided to put it all out there in being an Ambassador for Christ? How would their boldness for the Lord be interpreted? Would it inspire the viewership or would they say it does not take all that- keep it to yourself?

A Draft from Heaven is a most interesting phenomenon! It too creates Victors. Matthew 5:14-16 says, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” However, these Victorious Vessels ultimately shine to bring God Glory.

The Talent and Gifting is so spiritually charged people are drawn to the conclusion that you must have been with Him. Testify for the people Brother Stephen. His commitment and dedication allowed him to experience a life that spoke to him having resolve in God that even in a horrific death- triumph still spoke louder. Stephen’s performance at his Final Combine was so massive, that he was even able to ask for mercy concerning those who questioned who he was and his ability!

I ask again, How many will tune in to View Heaven’s Draft? Will it keep you up all night? Will your cheer be loud? Will it send you into prayer mode for those who are coming into the Big League? Will you start clearing your Sundays or will it be the regularly scheduled program?

A Draft from Heaven should be the one we are all preparing for! It is worth every scratch, burn, & brokenness that we have ever faced. To have our name called will be like no previous euphoric moment! For this Draft is Eternal. He is not looking to trade or replace you! Whosoever will can be on this team! This Draft is not just in April. The Invitation has already been sent out. Keep putting your hand to the plow and do not look back. Oh, to hear your name being called! It does not get more epic than that!
